Volando Kenting’s three-day, two-night summer stay brings together ocean-view accommodation, FantaSEA dinner performances, local dining, and community-based experiences in Kenting.
Where Ocean, Art, Local Life and Mindful Travel Meet in Kenting
This summer, Volando Kenting invites guests on a three-day, two-night journey that moves gently between the sea and the stories of southern Taiwan. Two nights overlooking the ocean are woven together with the FantaSEA dinner experience, contemporary circus performances by our Kenyan colleagues, local flavours, and a visit to Daguang Community to discover how sustainability takes shape in everyday life.
The journey reaches beyond the hotel. From afternoon tea enjoyed in the room and evenings where performance unfolds beside the dinner table, to meeting local residents who give used cooking oil a new purpose and taking part in orchid conservation, these three days offer another way to experience Kenting—beyond its sunshine and sea.
An Evening of FantaSEA

As night falls, dinner at Volando Kenting takes on a different rhythm. On both evenings of the stay, the FantaSEA dinner experience brings contemporary circus into the dining room, performed by our Kenyan colleagues with energy, movement and warmth.
There is no need to leave the hotel for a theatre. Here, performance becomes part of the evening itself, allowing food, movement and the atmosphere of the journey to come together naturally at the table.

Discover Another Side of Kenting at Daguang Community
On the second afternoon, the journey continues beyond the hotel to nearby Daguang Community, where guests are invited to see how care for the ocean and the local environment is practised through everyday community life.

From Used Cooking Oil to a More Ocean-Friendly Cleaning Product
With many seafood restaurants in the surrounding area, used cooking oil is part of daily life in Daguang. Rather than treating it simply as waste, the community has developed ways to give it a new purpose.
A local instructor introduces the process of recycling and reusing cooking oil, along with the connection between everyday choices and marine environmental care. Guests then take part in making a cleaning product to bring home—a small reminder of the journey, and of how local life can inspire a more circular use of resources.
Orchid Conservation and Planting Experience
The visit continues with one of Daguang Community’s ongoing ecological conservation efforts. A local guide introduces the area’s orchid restoration work, its natural environment and the community’s approach to conservation before guests move outdoors to take part in orchid seedling inoculation and planting.
Through participation rather than observation alone, the experience offers a closer look at how a community cares for its land and natural surroundings in its own way.
